I think if you like it or not it is unwise to rely on one piece of software as an editor. It is the one piece of software that I think you need to now how to use if your serious about editing if only not to limit your job opportunities I am not a big fan it is hard to like but when you get used to the way it works it is very fast and easy.

Thanks Pensmen, really good to see we are thinking of using it on one of or up and coming productions. wonder how it deals with high winds?

Interesting, do you think this is a Lion back ground software that has made this possible??

Have you tried Avid on this version when using third party cards ETC... This was always the problem of running Avid in Snow leopard.

If you have an Apple Developper Account, the 10.7.2 of OSX works like a charm with MC 5.5.2 ...
